They are bringing back Fiesta Movement to promote their new 2014 Ford Fiesta. This is a “social remix” of the online campaign that was ultra successful when they launched the vehicle back in 2009.

“Fiesta Movement: A Social Remix” was unveiled this week at Social Media Week New York City. Ford will give the winning “social agents” a Fiesta to drive for a year. What’s the catch? In turn, those agents will compete in Ford-sponsored challenges across the country, including events at American Idol, Bonnaroo music and arts festival and the summer X Games.
The agents will also have to agree to generate content in the form of photos, blogs, videos and any other creative ideas they may have. “Fiesta was designed to reflect the individuality of the customer, so we feel the marketing efforts should give the reins to the people who will be driving it,” Jim Farley, head of global marketing, sales, service and Lincoln, said, according to the Detroit Free Press.
