It’s comes as no to surprise the Planet Ford in Humble team; Ford’s first on race day, yet again! That’s right! Ford has swept the Daytona Speedweeks with a Daytona 500 victory! Joey Logano piloted a Ford Fusion to his first Daytona win! “To win this race is just amazing,” Logano said, “That feeling of winning the Daytona 500, I can’t explain how cool this is.”
This Daytona win makes for Ford’s 14th overall in “The Great American Race.” It also marks the first time Ford has swept all of NASCAR’s top three touring divisions in the same weekend since last August at Bristol Motor Speedway. Ford continues to be undefeated at Daytona International Speedway in 2015.
